Reading Aloud   Written by Mary Ellen (6/25/2006 11:37 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Copyright, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

I hadn't gotten to do it for this one. So I just rushed out to the kitchen and read him a bit. I think it's perhaps a little too silly for his taste. He did laugh at a line about 'noble Manliness'. And the knocking at the door scene did get a chuckle. He said that it is funny and does seem to be meant to read aloud since it is so dramatic. It's useful to read aloud for the reader, as I think you notice Things that you might notice when you are reading to yourself. I've discussed doing the next group read novel (S&S), but am concerned that it might be too many pages to get through. I have to do it all on long drives, trips to the hardware store and while he is washing dishes.

I rather like having Capital letters on some of my nouns. It adds a certain Something.
