LOL!   Written by MaryAnn K. (6/25/2006 1:00 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Scraps, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

I think the tour of Wales was my favorite!

Such great quotes, "Fanny has taken a great many Drawings of the Country, which are very beautiful, tho' perhaps not such exact resemblances as might be wished, from their being taken as she ran along." Ha, to try to draw and run at the same time! I chuckle out loud!

My favorite was the ending, "& at last when they were quite gone (shoes), Mama was so kind as to lend us a pair of blue Sattin Slippers, of which we each took one and hopped home from Hereford delightfully."

Truly, JA was born with this genius wit.
