There is this incidence our father always told us.

He was in the Indian Air Force.
Got married to my mother (arranged, of course) just before he went back to his station, leaving my mother behind. Wasn't legally allowed by the Air Force authorities to take her with him as he wasn't 25 yet.
Sprained his foot or something, went to the hospital, filled in the form and wrote '*no* where one is asked 'Married'.
It was only when he hobbled out of the room that he hobbled back to say 'he was'. LOL!!

Well, with Mr. Harley this loss of memory lasted longer.
