I liked that the story of the naval chaplain was dedicated to her midshipman brother Francis. I wonder if the story was included in a letter to him, for, from the dedication, we know he is aboard ship when this was written. That's a nice picture, isn't it - visualizing Francis opening his packet of letters from home and reading this little story from his little sister. awwww....
