Mr.Harley wants to please both his parents, so becomes a chaplain in a ship. And he has forgotten that he married before he left?! I also found it funny that one of the travellers in the coach was hatless, while the other wore two!! Imagine if JA had continued to write in this vein- we would have had very different but hilarious novels.
