Run mad as often as you choose!   Written by Felicity S (6/20/2006 10:44 a.m.)
Are you new?

This, like others further down the board, is my first group read - v. thrilling!

Absolutely loved Love and Freindship. The highlight was reading the following:

"My Father's house is situated in Bedfordshire, Aunt's in Middlesex, and tho' I flatter myself with being a tolerable proficient in Geography, I know not how it happened, but I found myself entering this beautifull Vale which I find is in South Wales,"

LOL (but only when I had looked on a map!)

I was quite surprised at how many quotations from this piece of the Juvenilia appear in the film of Mansfield Park. Did this annoy anyone? I spotted lots and it didn't irritate me but it was distracting.
