Some more ;-)   Written by Reeba (6/19/2006 4:02 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, L&F and NA, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

Laura always fainted - alternating it with Sophia's fainting of course.

And she 'ran mad' in an emergency.
Catherine never fainted, (she didn't possess such 'sensibility' ;-), and remained cool and collected and made her way back to Fullerton.

Laura could appreciate nature - the majestic elms, and the blue sky with white streaks so much like Augustus' blue satin waistcoat - LOL!!!
The bed of full-grown nettles :-D
The murmuring brook running in front of them, and the turn-pike road running behind them. ( later JA refers to this road as the 'murmuring road' - LOL!! LOL!!)
This part is extremely funny, and sounds like the Beechan Cliff walk!!

Catherine thought the best view was only from the top of a hill, and later learned to appreciate a Hyacinth (what about the nettles, Catherine??)

In my book in the introduction, Richard Church says that the wit is like a bludgeon in the Juvenilia and like a rapier in her novels.

I am happy that they both appeal to me.
