I remember being VERY puzzled by Jane's stance on England's history. I mean, I really felt it was even immature to side with Mary QoS against Elizabeth I, one of the most powerful women in history! But, all things considered now knowing about Jane's parody on other historians, I'm dumbfounded at her insight and droll sense of humor! (And Cassandra's too!)
