...especially with that unkingly cap!

I'm reminded of an illustration of Henry VIII's jester, Will Somers. (Henry also appears in the pic)
Somers has no cap but wears a green jerkin opened at the neck, similar to the above portrait.

Perhaps Cassandra's portrait presents Henry VIII as a buffoon combined with a cruel, Machivellian streak.

I realize I could easily be wrong on this!
