Are you new?

If you consider the letter by Anne Boylen(real or forged)it is again irritating , to me at least , to find that Goldsmith decides not to quote from it direct but to "invent" it ?

I wonder if JA had access to a copy in some publication of the "real" letter and decided to make this point(" I have included in my history the real date of the letter,whereas GOldsmith just invented the contents). ;-)
