The Hollow Crown Written by Cheryl (8/24/2004 2:54 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Anne's Letter, penned by Carolyn

Myretta and I saw The Hollow Crown at the RSC two years ago before the Pemberley Annual Meeting, and this letter was one of those performed. It was very moving, especially coming as it did, right after one of Henry VII's love letters to her, swearing eternal devotion. It was quite a sobering juxtaposition.

On a lighter note, in the same play was read portions of JA's History of England. ;-)
