St Crispin's Day   Written by Cheryl (8/20/2004 12:18 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Battle of Agincourt, penned by Carolyn
Are you new?

What a great speech! I'm basically a pacifist, but I will admit to being stirred up by this call to arms (especially when spoken by Kenneth Branagh. ;-)

I'm surprised with all of JA's references to Shakespeare that she glosses over this. It is only "he went & fought the famous Battle of Agincourt." Was it so ubiquitious and the speech so well-known that there was no need or point in mentioning it?
