A very convincing parody of JA!

Brava, indeed.

Why she started with Henry IV has always mystified me: it doesn’t follow the order of Shakespeare’s historical plays( which begin with King John): even Goldsmith's history starts, briefly before the Norman Conquest( 1066).

It shows just how anarchic she was, dosen’t it? To arbitarily declare that English History began with Henry IV.LOL

And it shows her independence and originality of thought; any other teenager,asked to write a History of England would, I submit ,have started at some logical point. Not somewhere in the middle….
