Are you new?

I have been searching all over for the answer, but no one seems to have it.

To me, it would make it more interesting if Cassandra was in on the joke and chose people known to them to illustrate the history. (Especially if those people had similar qualities as the monarchs they are associated with).

I am fairly sure that Jane would have seen paintings (or illustration thereof) of the monarchs, so more accurate portraits could have been done, if they were really wanted.
