Hard work for a foreigner ;o)   Written by Celina R (6/12/2003 4:01 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR: Loving Hamlet ;-), penned by Barbara
Are you new?

] This is what gets to me, above all. Even people who have never read a word of it could tell you that the depressed-looking guy in a black suit holding a skull is Hamlet, should they see a photo or cartoon.

Hmmm, that sounds like myself! :o)

English is not my native language, and I must say I envy all of you when it comes to understanding Shakespeare. I have read Hamlet, and managed to struggle through the language just enough to get the plot and the most general thoughts; but I still have a long way to go till I can actually comprehend and enjoy its full flavour. However, reading comments such as yours is a great help!
