I don't like him either. Every (and I mean every) soliloquy the man is moaning about how hard-done-by he is. Such self-pity! He not only keeps his wounds 'green', they're practically alive! And, in case you don't get that poor Princikins is So Depressed with The Societal Corruption And Harsh Realities Of Modern Life In Denmark, he thoughtfully reminds us by dressing in black, throwing around skulls, and playing the lovely game of Hunt The Advisor And Kill Him every so often to get rid of His Angst. Like Karen 2L's husband. in III.1 I wished he'd top himself and get it Over With. He gets worse as the play continues-Drives Ophelia mad-Oh dear, another Victim Of The Corruption Out There. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern-Oh well, they have their heads chopped off. Polonius-Oh well, he's dumb, he deserves it. And in the last scene, 'report me and my cause aright'-Make it look good, Spin it Well, Horatio! I had to study this play in excruciating detail for a year and a half, and I still think H is a moron.
