GR: and isn't that Marianne Faithful?   Written by Jezkalyn (6/10/2003 2:53 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR: Nicol Williamson and Hamlet's madness, penned by Laraine
Are you new?

] I really dislike the Nicol Williamson version of Hamlet. I think removes any subtly or ambiguity from the play, which is what makes it a great work of literature. Blech.

Isn't Marianne Faithful playing Ophelia? If that doesn't tell you everything you need to know, I don't know what will! ;-)

I don't agree with the interpretation, but it is one (far fetched) way to look at it, I suppose. Sometimes, I believe, you have to see what doesn't work to really get a good idea of what does work.
