GR: Oh, now...   Written by Cheryl (6/6/2003 1:30 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR: Horatio's personality, penned by Line
Are you new?

] When I watched the Kenneth Branagh video, Horatio made so little impression on me that I had to rewind to "place" him. (Of course, that might be partly due to the actor who played him - sorry I can't remember *his* name!).

I thought Nicholas Farrell did a great job as Horatio in that movie. (JA trivia - Nicholas Farrell played Edmund Bertram in MP1) It is such a thankless role, most of the time he just stands around listening to Hamlet and nodding, just waiting for his moment with the "Goodnight, sweet prince" line. ;-)

I've always thought it a tough role, so hard to be there and present and engaged when everyone is focused on Hamlet, and I thought Nicholas Farrell did a great job at that. But then, I freely admit that I am biased in favor of this film.... :-}
