] Fortinbras is just as bent on revenge, but goes about it in a more open manner. He is crossing Denmark under false pretenses, but he and his army are there for all to see, they cannot sneak up upon anyone unless they are begin willfully blind (as I think Claudius was being).

Do we know that he intended to invade Denmark? I know the KB adaptation certainly presents it that way (and it's been too long since I've seen any other to remember how they present it), but I can't remember if there is anything in the text itself that says so.

I have to admit, I want so much to think of him as one of the FEW honorable characters....I hate to think of him dealing in such an underhand manner. Bleh.
