GR: Laertes and Hamlet's speeches   Written by Emmeline (5/25/2003 9:55 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR: Laertes and Hamlet regarding "true love", penned by Laraine
Are you new?

Hello! I'm back! I was away from home for 3 weeks and come back on 15 May. I did not have access to a computer so I did not know about the group read but this morning I'm starting to read Hamlet and the GR messages.

] Laertes advice to Ophelia about Hamlet and Hamlet's "nunnery scene" decriptions of how men and women treat and trick each other are surprisingly similar.

Yes, their speeches are similiar. They say it in different ways but I agree that they are saying the same thing.
