Out of spirits

I agree, Ophelia seems rather spiritless throughout the play. Thompson seems to say that she was spirited when Hamlet first met her, but that seems a stretch based on the evidence from the play. It's odd. I don't know what would have attracted Hamlet to her in the first place, they seem so different.
