] From the "inner play" forward, Hamlet doesn't show that he has any doubts about who killed his father. Before that, he mentions doubts a few times.

So many complex motivations. Thanks for the Revenge Play post, I remember discussing that topic in a college Shakespeare class, and it's helpful to understand what sometimes seems incomprehensible to 21st century readers.
