Perhaps...   Written by Cheryl (5/20/2003 4:18 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR: "it is a tragedy & therefore not worth reading.", penned by Sheena
Are you new?

] I have to say I feel that way about Hamlet , but I'd like to hear why it appeals to so many readers, and then perhaps I'll give it another try! Why do you like, or love, the play, if you do?

This might be something that would be best discussed the last week of the Group Read? When it is "legal" to discuss the play as a whole and summations are appropriate.

In the meantime, why not, as Laurie says, read the GR posts, participate in it yourself, ask any questions you may have about the week's characters or topic foci. You might glean just what it is that people like, or find that it grows on you, even! ;-)
