When you're asking a Group Read question, please put "GR" as the first characters of your post. It's a convention we all try very hard to follow.

We're going to be talking about Hamlet in about three weeks, so if you'd like to discuss how it is he seems younger than we're told he is, please post your question then.

Briefly, I'll say that we are told he's thirty. There are people who believe that the grave-digger's saying Hamlet is that old was simply a slip in the text. But that's the age the received text tells us he is, so that's what we have to work with.
