]I find it quite pathetic that she used her old sons coat in this way, don't you?I often get the feeling she was sentimental after having somehow driven them all away from her with her pride...but these are my own musings....... Absolutely. I wish I knew more about all these individuals. Some I feel for more than others, and of course we are for the most part only reading one side of the whole story. Still, I can't imagine the fear (or reality) of poverty and alienation some of these women endured. |
