] They were Captain Wentworth's sister and brother-in-law,Admirla and Mrs Croft,and as, Stephanie Marie has indicated below, this type of marriage was not umcommon in JA's work ;-)

"Anne Eliot", pfffft, of course I meant "Persuasion". But the Croft's marriage is the only one that truly impressed me and imprinted itself as particularly happy into my mind, obviously-I don't know why.
