The book was Persuasion Written by JulieW (10/26/2003 5:24 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Successful marriages-Captain Wentworth's uncle, penned by KerstinM

They were Captain Wentworth's sister and brother-in-law,Admirla and Mrs Croft,and as, Stephanie Marie has indicated below, this type of marriage was not umcommon in JA's work ;-)
