GR: I wasn't aware that I spoilered :o(   Written by KerstinM (10/23/2003 12:38 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, So?, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

] I will not comment about further chapters now ,but will wait to discuss all our findings on Elizabeth Shakelton in the conlusion of our group read, and I look forward to debating it all with you then ;-)

I thought I didn't mention any of the subjects that were elaborated there (though that was tough for me -the next chapters are so interesting!) and found the tidbit of information not really connected with the content of it only helpful since you asked. Sorry if I gave away too much!

The topic of domestic violence is admittedly a hot button for me and the injustice of it just makes me mad-espcially in regard of those inhuman laws and customs which supported so many neighbors, siblings and friends in pleasantly looking away instead of helping when helping was so bitterly needed-IMO at least. We will never find out the truth of this matter, unfortunetely.

Kerstin (also looking forward to discuss the next chapters...)
