Are you new?

I saw Bosinney's distraction as a combination of rage, grief, and frustration. Remember that, legally, he was powerless to assist Irene. Her husband committed a repugnant, unforgivable act that was completely within the law. Personally I think Bosinney was on the edge of madness--or perhaps already over.
