Bone chilling   Written by Golda (10/15/2004 10:01 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Wasn't Irene's note chilling?, penned by Rosalie
Are you new?

One of the reasons Soames never understood Irene is because she doesn't care about money or property. To Soames, it is everything. Thus, by leaving behind valuable jewels on which she and Bosinney could live, Irene makes a very strong statement about just how much she despises Soames and the life that he led her into.

I agree. This lines were very powerful and telling.
