An accident   Written by Golda (10/15/2004 9:58 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, I definitely believe Bosinney was, penned by Rosalie
Are you new?

I never considered suicide. I just assumed that it was an accident. If Bosinney was in a rage over what Soames had done to Irene, IMHO, the last thing he would do is kill himself. No. I think that he would make plans to take her away from Soames. Irene packed a few things because she was going to run away with Bosinney.

As I noted in a different thread, the term Buccaneer was amusing but not at all fitting for Bosinney. He didn't care much about money. So what would motivate him to commit suicide? At the time of his death, he doesn't know the outcome of the trial, thus all hope is not lost over financial matters. Whatever the outcome of the trial, I believe that Bosinney is too much of an artiste to care about money.
