I found these books compelling. Unlike the many great readers at Pemberley, I don't find many books that I absolutely can't put down, and it is rare that I spend the time on a re-read, let alone an annual re-read as I so often see posted at this site. But the Forsyte Saga fit into that rare category for me. I read the books day and night at the expense of sleep, chores, and anything else that was even slightly discretionary.

I am glad that some of you found it compelling too. That is why I thought it best to make the recommended link the first three books in one volume rather than spending about the same for The Man of Property alone.
