how Irene and Soames would resolve their problems. It's very difficult for me to believe they will remain together.

I'm also interested in how Old Jolyon is going to take the slamming of the door in Young Jo's face. Is Old J actually going to buy Robin Hill from Soames and will June go there to live with him?

It seems a very abrupt ending. So many questions. I'm glad I don't have to wait 14 yrs. to read on.
