The end of the book Written by Golda (10/14/2004 9:52 a.m.)

We are now in the final week of the group read. While we know that the story continues, this book was published in 1906 and Galsworthy did not write the next book for another 14 years. So 100 years ago, readers had to be satisfied with the ending that was presented.

What do you think of how the story ends? Were the issues conclued to your satisfaction? What do you imagine happens between Irene and Soames? What do you think June will do next?
