Old Jolyon at the Zoo   Written by Golda (9/27/2004 11:51 a.m.)
Are you new?

Was anyone surprised that Old Jolyon met his son and grandchildren at the zoo? I found it very touching that the grandchildren have warmed to him so quickly. His affinity for children further illustrates why he chose to protect young June rather than stand by his son when Young Jolyon left his wife to set up house with the governess.

Any comments on where they chose to meet?
