I keep giggling to myself. Galsworthy has indeed a very critical and satirical view on everything. He does not ridicule his characters but he does not treat them with reverence either. I like this mixture, it makes everything so real. And so far I've smiled and giggled over lots of these small follies of the characters. Isn't it a little bit like Jane Austen?
