Is this the "something"? Written by LaurieC (9/20/2004 11:45 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Groucho Forsythe?, penned by Tori Marie

I had mentioned this in another thread, but in the opening it says "The Forsytes were resentful of something, not individually, but as a family..." Is the source of resentment ever explained (at least in the first seven chapters), or is it all about being upper middle class, in trade (though prosperous), and not able to advance. Or is it simply that they are about to be invaded by the Buccaneer?

I can't make out anyone's character, either, so may I join your club, Tori? ;-)
