Emma is my favourite JA book.I really like Emma , in spite of all her faults,and adore Mr Knightley( indeed, I married him) ,and above all I love the snap shot JA gives us of life in a village in 1814/5.

Im sorry I couldn't participate as much as I originally wanted: these days I lie,Lady Bertram-like on a sopha for most of my afternoons-I know why she does it- its refreshing;-)-but I did enjoy filling in the background a little( and boasting about the Lincolnshire Ox.....)

Hopefully we will have a GR of the next section of the Letters sometime in the summer,then in the autumn the delights of Cheryl and the Persuasion GR.

I do hope to see you then,but till now, thanks and see you all on the boards ;-)
