Chapter 30   Written by Fannie (5/9/2008 9:46 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Why did Frank really think Emma knew?, penned by Dorothy A
Are you new?

Frank comes to Emma to say good-bye after his first 2-week visit. They talk about the ball a little, how they are disappointed, and then he talks about how he has already said good-bye to the Bates family, and then...

He hesitated, got up, walked to a window.

"In short," said he, "perhaps, Miss Woodhouse -- I think you can hardly be quite without suspicion -- "

and then I believe there is another instance where Frank (or the narrator) make mention of him trying to explain, and how he believed Emma perfectly understood him. But I can't seem to find it at the moment. I wonder if anyone else knows where to find it??
