Taking notes & laughing at myself.   Written by Rachel G (5/9/2008 7:45 a.m.)
Are you new?

Like most people I suppose, I scribble a lot of notes when I am reading carefully, and I generally use contractions of characters' names - FC, JF, etc.

I noticed during this GR that the intolerable Augusta Elton is having an effect on me, in that I am utterly incapable of shortening Mr Knightley's name. 'GK' will not do, and I simply cannot bring myself to write 'Knightley' or worse, 'Mr K'. It has to be 'Mr Knightley' written in full every time. LOL! :-D
