Poor Jane Written by JulieW (5/9/2008 4:27 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, "I Told You I Was Ill" part two (and three), penned by Tarn

Its not surprising that she survived only nine or ten years after the novel ended.

JA does portray her as someone who might develop consumption, and her depiction of JFs symptoms is in line medical knowledge of that disease at that time.
