Midsummer Madness   Written by Tarn (4/30/2008 12:49 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, How childish!, penned by MarianneR

Titania (fairy queen and lady patroness) in MSND was quarrelsome and had a fondness for asses.

Incidentally, when it comes to arranging the mutton and the pigeon pie, and the difference between town and country, there does not seem much to settle: it seems natural that the mutton should be from the Randalls estate, and the pigeon pie from the parsonage dove-cote (although I sometimes have visions of Mrs Elton climbing the bell tower for them)
