Chapter 36   Written by Antoinette (4/26/2008 3:58 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Question concerning postal affairs..., penned by MarianneR
Are you new?

This chapter is so amusing. The entire chapter is a conversation between Mr. Weston and Mrs. Elton, but neither of them is actually paying attention to the other. Each might as well have been talking to themselves. Mr. Weston is all Frank, and Mrs. Elton is all Maple Grove. Neither of them wants to hear what the other has to say, they just want to talk about their own idea of importance. The way each ignores the other and just looks for openings to talk about what they want to say is very amusing to me.
