Sometimes is does in a sense, making problems appear less and more easily corrected and putting a rose colored glow over the future but on the other hand perhaps it is not Mrs. Weston whose memory is in question. Could it be that her companion has some extracurricular memories others from the party do not share? Perhaps it is Frank whose memory is at odds with reality and if so what is up? (;D)
