I wasn't defending her Written by Laraine (4/17/2008 7:18 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Harriet's refusal of Robert Martin, penned by Lori Kate

My point was that if someone heard only the beginning and end of the conversation, and not what changed his tone, it would be hard to believe it was the same man talking about the same woman.

My point was not that Mr. Knightley was wrong about Harriet or Mr. Martin. I don't think he was.
