Imprudent?   Written by Antoinette (4/16/2008 9:54 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Emma & Jane, penned by nan duval
Are you new?

When has Emma been imprudent about Mr. Dixon. Emma has never mentioned Mr. Dixon to Miss Fairfax. She has listened, most intently to everything Miss Bates has wandered off on the topic of Mr. Dixon, but she has never enquired about him herself. And I don't think her questions about Mr. Churchill were imprudent. She asked what he looked like and he what he talked about when they met at Weymouth in a public place. If that is imprudent then every conversation so far in the book is imprudent.
