Get out the shovel   Written by Mary Ellen (4/16/2008 12:20 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Why?, penned by nan duval
Are you new?

I'm reading Emma aloud to my husband. I think we are on the last book now. I get a much different point of view of the book with the pace of reading aloud. When I was reading some sections of Mansfield Park about Mrs. Norris DH would say, "I want to hit that woman over the head with a shovel." As I was reading him this section with Emma behaving so very badly, DH was looking for his shovel again.
