I daresay there probably might have been other traderīs carriages that could have taken Mr. Eltonīs luggage to the coach-station. By using the butcher JA seems to tell us with a blinking eye where she wishes Mr.Eltons stuff to end...

By the way - my eye for detail has improved by reading all your wonderful commentaries. Thanks to all of you!
