Even in P&P, Lady Catherine notes that Anne will inherit her property because there is no entail on it. Emma apparently is aware of what she will inherit. In any case, she does have a sister who has married well, and she would be able to live with John and Isabella (although Emma and John might not enjoy spending a lot of time under the same roof!).
