Being one of the few who can find fault in her, Mr Knightley is the one who can see her for what she is, which is of course lovely and all - at the same time I find him a bit annoying. He almost assumes the role of a parent (well, almost?!) in constantly correcting her. In Dutch he would be called a 'wijsneus', and the improper English translation would be he-that-always-knows-best.
